Mi nombre es Gabriel Vega, nací en Madrid en 1973 y después de finalizar mis estudios universitarios comencé mi carrera profesional como traductor en 1997. Desde ese momento he venido desarrollando mi actividad de manera ininterrumpida, ocupando distintos cargos dentro de la industria, desde gestor de proyectos, revisor/editor de textos, traductor interno o coordinador lingüístico a fundador y director de agencias de traducción hasta llegar a mi ocupación actual de traductor freelance. Mi participación en todas estas etapas distintas del proceso de traducción me ha permitido poder ver dicho proceso desde todos los ángulos y, a la vez, disponer de una visión global del mismo.
Soy socio profesional de Asetrad, la Asociación Española de Traductores, Correctores e Intérpretes y, como tal, en mi actividad diaria sigo las normas establecidas en su código deontológico.
